The Rumor Mill:
Allemande Hall is not Sold Allemande Hall Real Property is not listed with a Realty Agent Allemande Hall has not received an offer for the sale of the property
The purpose of the called meeting of the Certificate Holders was not to get approval to sell the Hall. The purpose of the special meeting was to review the documents that had been prepared by the attorney to facilitate the Hall Board in being organized and in readiness in the event of receiving an offer to buy the Hall Real Property. There has been an inquiry which has precipitated the Board in taking these steps.
The reason these measures are being taken is not money – directly. It is lack of interest by dancers to support the Hall and its activities, thereby causing a lack of funds to maintain the Hall. The Hall is not broke; there is money in the kitty, however there have been years of late that the Hall has had to reach into the cookie jar in order to continue to operate. |
Support the Hall!
Should there be something about the Hall, the way it is operated or callers or cuers you do not like, please voice your opinion to the Board and encourage others to do the same.

A word on this subject from the Chairman of the Board of Allemande Hall
The Board felt that it had an obligation to the certificate holders to protect their interest and, therefore, to let them know that there had been a show of interest in purchasing the property and that there would probably be others in the future. The Board wanted to know the wishes of the certificate holders so that they, the Board, could speak/act according to their (certificate holders) wishes.
