Additional Cuers who have committed to attending the Festival and participating are:

Carol Shopbell:  Carol lives in Post Falls and cues in both Washington and northern Idaho.  She is traveling to the Festival with a traveling group of RVers from Spokane.

Nancy Mouser:  Nancyis a national cuer who just happens to live in Mountain Home.  When not traveling she and husband, Amos, cue and teach for the round dance club Spin & Twists in Boise.

We have 13 callers, 10 cuers and over 140 dancers preregistered from Idaho, Washington, California, Utah
and even Nebraska.

Schedule Addition:  Jonathan & Cinder Wood, Meridian, Idaho, will be teaching a phase III rumba in the back gym Friday morning from 10:00 to noon.  This little rumba is the one they choreographed and will be teaching at National and we thought it would be fun to give them some extra practice.

Federation Meet & Greet:  Remember this is scheduled just before the dinner hour on Friday.  Don’t just come for the appetizers.  This is your chance to meet with the Federation Officers and make suggestions for changes and improvements to our favorite hobby.  These officers represent you and they can do a much better job of that function if they know your thoughts and concerns.

Please remember to bring your club and association/council banners for the Grand March.  It makes it look festive to march in with the banners and we can display them around the main gym for the dance.  We will have people available to hang them for you when the grand march is finished so you don’t have to leave your square.

I’ve had a peek at the decorations and Barbara Miller and crew have done some interesting things with our theme “Remember When” so you will want to take time to look them over.

Road Report:  Due to reconstruction of the freeway traffic reduced to one lane between Burley and I-84/I-86 junction (milepost 207.7 to 222). Use caution entering and exiting - ramp speed 45 mph.  Check http://hb.511.idaho.gov/main.jsf  for any last minute updates.
