| Jim has been square dancing since
1987 and round dancing since 1993.
Georgianne has been square dancing since 1992 and round dancing since 1994. Jim and Georgianne met during the Singles Dance-A-Rama in OKC in 1994. They started dancing together at that time and were married on August 11, 1995. They are licensed with BMI and ASCAP through Roundalab. In addition to this affiliation, they are members of Central District Caller's Association in OKC and are members in good standing of the Oklahoma State Caller's and Teacher's Association. They are immediate past president of Oklahoma Round Dance Association and are presently serving as newsletter editor for 1999-2000. They are also members of Universal Round Dance Council. They cue for Dancing Shadows Round Dance Club in OKC with Glen & GG Greer and for the Shawnee Square Eights Square Dance Club in Shawnee, OK. Jim trained to cue with JC and Elberta Johnson of Oklahoma City and dance with all of JC's Round dance clubs. They both strive to learn more there as well as travel to out of town festivals and learn from nationally known instructors. Presently they are secretary of Colonial Round Dance Club in Oklahoma City, JC and Elberta Johnson's level V-VI club. They teach beginning and intermediate level basic lessons as well as cue Phase I through Phase V dances. They would like to hear from you and are willing to help any way they can. 4800 S. Foster Rd, OKC (Just S of SE 44th & Eastern).
Shawnee Square Eights - Shawnee Municipal Auditorium - 10th & Bell, Shawnee, OK. We dance on 2nd & 4th Saturdays. WS @ 7:30 p.m. GM @ 8:00 p.m. with rounds and line dances between tips. Also plus tips if we have the dancers.
