We are a fun bunch of people that meet once a week to round dance.

What's round dancing?

Round dancing is a "couples dance" in that you dance as a couple. It has similarities to ballroom dancing and square dancing. The dance moves are similar to ballroom dance steps such as: cha-cha, waltz, tango and there's some two-stepin' in there too! It shows similarities to square dancing in that a "caller" (aka: cuer) calls out dance steps for the dancing couples to make as the music plays, however couples do not dance with other couples as in square dancing. They dance around the room in a large circle, hence the name "Round Dancing".
